Novem delivered secure, cloud-based IT enabling flexible working, resilient connectivity, and robust business continuity.
M62 Vincis, a global consultancy specialising in winning complex bids across industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, construction, and IT, needed a robust IT environment to support its highly mobile workforce. Their requirements included reliable connectivity for cloud-based applications, secure hosted email, flexible telephony, and a business continuity solution to ensure uninterrupted access to mission-critical data.
Novem partnered with M62 Vincis to deliver a fully integrated solution designed for flexibility and resilience:
This project focused on delivering a robust and resilient IT infrastructure tailored to the needs of a global consultancy. By modernising core systems and introducing cloud-based solutions, Novem ensured that M62 Vincis could maintain productivity and connectivity regardless of location or circumstance.
Novem migrated the organisation’s email services to Microsoft 365, incorporating compliance features such as litigation hold to meet regulatory requirements. A hosted VoIP telephony solution was deployed, designed with N+1 redundancy to guarantee reliability. Connectivity was strengthened through the installation of a fast leased symmetrical internet service, supported by a monitored Fibre-to-the-Cabinet backup for failover protection. To safeguard business-critical data, Novem implemented a Datto business continuity platform with verified offsite backups, complemented by proactive endpoint monitoring across all devices.
As we do with all work, the project began with a detailed consultation to understand M62 Vincis’ operational requirements and compliance obligations. Migration activities were carefully phased to minimise disruption, starting with email services before moving to telephony and connectivity upgrades. Business continuity and endpoint monitoring were introduced in parallel, ensuring that resilience measures were in place as core systems transitioned.
Downtime was kept to an absolute minimum throughout the project. Email migration was completed seamlessly, and telephony deployment was staged to avoid interruptions to client communications. Connectivity enhancements were implemented with failover mechanisms in place, ensuring uninterrupted access to cloud-hosted applications.
By consolidating services under a managed subscription model, M62 Vincis achieved predictable monthly costs and reduced reliance on legacy hardware. The proactive monitoring and continuity solutions significantly lower the risk of costly downtime, delivering long-term operational savings and improved efficiency.
The implementation provided M62 Vincis with a secure, flexible IT environment that supports their global operations and consultancy model. Staff can now work seamlessly from any location, accessing hosted email and telephony services without interruption. The introduction of a highly available internet connection with automatic failover ensures that critical business applications remain accessible at all times.
In addition, the business continuity platform delivers complete resilience, with daily backup verification and rapid recovery capabilities in the event of a system failure. These improvements have given the business confidence in its IT infrastructure, enabling greater agility and reducing operational risk. Summarised:
